YAAT, short for "Yet Another Airdrop Tool - Massive version", was developed to facilitate massive airdrops, like distributing $lambos to every active Ergo address. It can handle an unlimited number of addresses, depending on your RAM, and works through a CSV detailing the recipient address, token ID, token amount, and erg amount. The tool breaks down the CSV into manageable batches and sends them sequentially. Users can set a delay between batches to spread out the airdrop. Recently, 65k active users from 2023 received an airdrop, making the claim that all ERGO holders possess several Lambos a reality. The tool's efficiency is highlighted by the fact that the airdrop costs only 2.5 ERG. However, users are cautioned against misuse. Check out the tool here.
BetNinja: Introduction of a betting bot leveraging Spectrum pool stats as an oracle. BetNinja has rolled out a straightforward betting bot that uses Spectrum pool stats to determine token movements, be it a pump, dump, or stability. The bot facilitates options bets, allowing users to place open orders in chat, which the bot validates once the token reaches the specified price. Additionally, it supports swaps, where users can propose token exchanges without the need for Oracle validation. You can interact with the bot on Telegram via @BetNinja_bot and join their beta channel here. The off-chain logic is mostly complete, and there's an aspiration to develop a decentralized version using traceable NFTs and smart contracts for the upcoming ErgoHack. Collaborators interested in on-chain development are warmly welcomed.
Developer Discussions:
Discussion on Hydra and Cardano: The conversation revolved around the functioning of Hydra with Cardano, which essentially operates as a split-off that precedes the main branch. The discussion also touched upon the concept of local state in UTXO and its potential applications in isomorphic channels. The primary use cases for isomorphic channels are either for congestion management or for data cost reduction.
Finality Considerations: The discussion included considerations on finality, which implies lower Transaction Per Second (TPS)
Other Topics: The discussion also included topics such as weak blocks, propagation changes, side chain support, finality considerations, and synchronization protocol.
